VetUK Acquires Nutrecare

Thirsk-based VetUK has acquired Nutrecare Limited, an online Veterinary and Pet product retailer.
 
Nutrecare Ltd, a competitor of VetUK, will provide complimentary services to VetUK’s current business.
 
James Towler, partner at York-based Langleys Solicitors LLP handled the deal on behalf of VetUK. Langleys’ colleagues Emma Clarkson, Francoise Vandale and Stephen Elliott also worked on the deal.
 
The relocation of Nutrecare from Kidderminster to Thirsk will lead to the employment of four new members of staff, bringing the total number of VetUK employees to thirty two.
 
VetUK intends to continue using the Nutrecare brand, alongside its other brands, PetUK (dog food, toys and accessories), Max & Molly's pet food range and, soon-to-be launched a dog wormer, cat and dog flea drop preparation and a range of pet Nutriment supplements.
