With 20 years experience in as a private client lawyer, and 25 years spend in practice overall, Andrew’s particular area of expertise lies in estate planning for farmers and business owners.
Whilst always trying to ensure that valuable inheritance tax reliefs are maximised, he is equally keen to understand and help with the broader personal and family issues affecting his clients.
Andrew notes the longstanding personal relationships he builds with his clients to be one of the most rewarding parts of his career.
Outside the firm, Andrew is a visiting lecturer at the University of Law in Leeds, delivering workshops on Wills, Trusts and Taxation matters. He is also secretary to the York Dispensary and the John Straker Charity.
