Following her father’s recommendation that she study Law, she pursued a degree in Law and Psychology before transferring to Law and Business, graduating in 2006.
Whilst completing her training contract with a Lincolnshire firm, Becky studied for her LPC with the College of Law in York which she achieved, with commendation, in 2008, going on to become fully qualified in 2009.
Following a career break where she utilised skills gained from her degree to build her own business, Becky returned to Law in 2014, joining the team at Langleys. Now working as a Paralegal in the Private Client Team, Becky specialises in advising clients in relation to wills, probate and associated administration of estates and lasting powers of attorney.
Day to day, she also assists the team in complex matters and the administration of Court of Protection cases, building on her experience of a wide variety of private client matters.
Considering what she find most rewarding about her role, Becky notes, ‘In the cases of bereavement, removing any additional worries that I can for my clients and supporting them through the estate administration process is my priority. Hearing that my help has made a very difficult time even a tiny bit easier for a family is the mark of a job well done.’
