Chelsea completed her law degree at University College London and graduated in 2011. She went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School in 2012, obtaining a distinction.
Chelsea completed her training contact in 2014 with a firm based in West London; she joined the Private Client team at Langleys in May 2016. Chelsea is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”), having completed the STEP Diploma with distinction in November 2017.
Chelsea advises clients on a range of legal issues, including inheritance tax planning, the preparation of Wills, trust documents and Lasting Powers of Attorney. In addition, she also has experience of advising clients on mental capacity and applications to the Court of Protection.
Chelsea has experience of advising high net worth individuals and clients who have business interests. She also deals with the administration of estates, including complex and taxable estates, as well as those which involve foreign assets or an international element.
Chelsea is a dedicated and sensitive solicitor. Describing the most rewarding part of her role, Chelsea comments that she feels 'incredibly privileged to help my clients through significant moments in their life – making their first Will, engaging in succession planning, revising their Wills when they have children or grandchildren, I also help clients who have experienced a bereavement or when their family members are losing mental capacity. For a number of my clients, I am their trusted person, which is a lovely feeling.'
