David is a partner and joint head of our team and has specialised in private client and agricultural work since he qualified in 1994. David attended Newcastle University where he studied Law and then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course. He completed his training contract at Roythornes Solicitors where he worked until joining Langleys in 2005.
David provides succession planning, inheritance tax and capital gains tax advice for estate owners (and Trustees), farmers, business owners and high net worth individuals.
His work extends to advice in relation to Trusts and Estates, complex wills, Inheritance Act Claims, Contentious Probate Claims and Proprietary and promissory estoppel.
David is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a member of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA). He is also the Under Sheriff of Lincolnshire
