Since joining the firm on a training contract in 2015 following the completion of her law degree and LPC, Emily has gone on to qualify as a Solicitor, initially working within the dispute resolution team.
In the Spring of 2018, Emily joined the Employment Law team, advising on both contentious and non-contentious law issues such as day-to-day employee relations, drafting of documentation and dealing with employment tribunal claims.
In addition to her work in Employment, Emily also specialises in education law, acting for schools during the academy conversion process and advising on matters such as parental complaints, school admission appeals and exclusion.
Discussing what she finds most rewarding about her role, Emily notes that, ‘you often have to be creative in finding solutions to client’s problems as there is no one-size fits all solution. I really enjoy getting to know my clients and their businesses, which enables me to find a solution to their problem that works for them and their business.’
