Lincoln born and Gainsborough bred, newly qualified solicitor Hannah joined Langleys Solicitors after completing her degree and Masters in Law at Northumbria University as an office assistant in the post room in 2016. She was quickly spotted for her professional skills and personality and was offered a role as paralegal in the Medical Negligence and Serious Injury team under the mentorship of practice head – Andrew Cragg.
Learning the intricacies of the of the nature of this work, Hannah streamlined the new client enquiry process, drove positive change in the team and stepped up to manage her own case files.
Off the back of this great work, Hannah was offered a training contract with Langleys, the last leg of her journey as qualifying as a solicitor being admitted on 1 September 2021.
Hannah is the first point of contact for people and relatives, supporting families at inquests, and gaining their trust in what is a very delicate and complex area of law. Make no doubt about it, this area of law is challenging, complicated and cases can take years to reach a conclusion. Despite this, Hannah really enjoys the contact with clients that working in this area of law affords, she explains, “It is so fulfilling, and a privilege to be able to provide assistance to people in their time of need ”.
Hannah has assisted the team to achieve hundreds of thousands of pounds in settlements to compensate people for their injuries and assist their passage back in to living a fulfilled life.
Day to day she provides assistance on a wide variety of cases including:

Within her own case load, Hannah specialises in claims of severe pressure sores, retained foreign objects following surgery and dental cases.
