With nearly 20 years’ experience as a property lawyer with almost half of that specialising purely in agricultural property matters Judy is the first lawyer at the York office at Langleys who focusses solely on agricultural work. Judy likes to take a pragmatic approach to ensure that the best results for her clients are achieved.
Judy deals every day with matters such as land sales and purchase, tenancy matters both relating to Farm Business Tenancies and Agricultural Holdings Act tenancies, renewables projects, farm diversification matters and options and accompanying documentation with developers.
Judy has written articles both for the firm’s Agricultural Newsletter and for national publications such as the Yorkshire Post and Northern Farmer. She is a member of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, the Country Land and Business Association and the Agricultural Law Association for which she is on the regional committee responsible for organising events for the region’s agricultural professionals to attend.
