Following the completion of her training with Langleys, Laura has worked within the Private Client team since qualifying as a solicitor in 2017. Laura has a degree in Law from the University of Manchester and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in York.
Laura specialises in providing advice on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, probate applications and estate administration. She also assists other members of the team with inheritance tax planning matters, court of protection applications and complex estates. Laura has experience of dealing with both simple and complex probate applications. She has also assisted with taxable and farming estates, estates with business assets and those with a foreign element.
Considering the most rewarding aspects of her role, Laura highlights ‘helping people on a daily basis, in particular those going through difficult periods in their lives.’
Further describing her experience of being part of Langleys, Laura comments, “I would say that the best thing is working with so many friendly and supportive people, not only in the Private Client department but the firm as a whole.
