With over 12 years’ experience specialising in Private Client Law, Lisa has particular specialist experience in advising clients with mental capacity issues and working with clients with brain injuries.
Lisa advises on all aspects of private client work to include a large portfolio of substantial and complex Court of Protection clients. She also advises in relation to wills, probate and associated administration of estates, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Personal Injury Trusts.
Her Court of Protection work involves Lisa managing financial affairs for many clients, most of which have suffered a personal injury and are making, or have made, a successful claim for an award of compensation.
Lisa works closely with our Claimant Personal Injury team during the claim to ensure that she fully understands her clients and their needs at a very early stage. This enables Lisa to develop a good working relationship with her clients to understand and assist with the co-ordination of their rehabilitation, working closely with case managers and rehabilitation teams.
Lisa has also spoken at one of Headway Lincolnshire’s seminars in 2017 to provide an insight into her role in her clients’ rehabilitation. Headway Lincolnshire is a local charity providing support and guidance to persons affected by an Acquired Brain Injury.
Lisa won Taxation of Trusts and Estates Student of the Year, STEP Excellence Awards 2012
