A Partner in the firm’s Corporate and Commercial team, Martin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of company and commercial law, including corporate structure, governance and finances.
A Law graduate of Oxford University, Martin also completed the London Business School Corporate Finance Programme.
Martin joined the firm following high profile roles as head of department at Harvey Ingram Owston (now part of Shakespeares),and a partner at DJ Freeman and Lane & Partners, as well as his work in the corporate finance department of merchant banks over a number of years.
During his career, Martin has worked on large and long-running privatisation projects, contested and uncontested takeovers, listings on various stock exchanges, the set-up of joint venture companies, including some household names, and some large management buyouts. He regards ‘adding value for clients’ and ‘skills development for colleagues,’ as some of the most rewarding elements of his work.
