Neal qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and has extensive experience of commercial property, land and farms. He also has experience of dealing with charity property and charity governance.
Neal studied at the University of Dundee attaining a MA (Hons) degree in Modern History and then completing the accelerated (two year) LLB. He then completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice part time at De Montfort University whilst working in legal practice. Neal qualified as a solicitor in March 2004 and worked in private practice in Nottingham. He then spent eight years as an in-house lawyer for a charity based in Leicestershire before returning to private practice in Leicester in 2019 as Head of Commercial Property. In April 2020 Neal was promoted to Partner.
Whilst Neal’s background is as a property lawyer, he likes to approach agricultural and rural clients by taking a holistic approach and learning in depth about their business so as to provide the client with the best advice. Neal enjoys working with other rural professionals to ensure clients businesses thrive and grow. He views working for clients as a collaborative task.
