The residential conveyancing division of Langleys Solicitors has transferred to a newly formed company called Home Property Lawyers.
Operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of York and Lincoln-based Langleys, Home Property Lawyers will deal solely with buying, selling and remortgaging residential properties. The transfer completed on 1 October.
The 135-strong Home Property Lawyers team is headed by director Sally Cottam, who has more than three decades’ experience dealing with transactions including new build plot sales, repossession sales, relocation and volume re-mortgages. She joined Langleys in 2006.
Sally said: “Residential conveyancing is a successful part of Langleys - now we want to develop a distinct brand for that business.
“We are seeing growth in our business which is providing opportunities for existing and new members of staff, who will continue to be supported with training and career progression.”
