One of Lincolnshire’s top financial advice firms has acquired its office building in Sleaford as it prepares for further growth.
Fiducia Group purchased the freehold of Mansfield House on Northgate, which it has occupied since 2010, with support from commercial property expert Langleys Solicitors in Lincoln.
Marcus Grimshaw, chief executive of Fiducia, said: “As the Fiducia team has grown we needed more office space. Whilst the work that our employees carry out can often be carried out remotely, we feel that keeping the team together offers a supportive environment and fosters best working practices.
“Paying rent on a building has obvious advantages but as a well-established and successful business it makes more sense to spend that money on an asset that is ultimately Fiducia’s.”
Fiducia was launched in 2001, with two partners, Marcus Grimshaw and Anthony Scott, offering investment, protection and mortgage advice. It now offers mortgages, pensions, investments, household insurance, wills and estate planning, business finance, business insurance, business protection and corporate finance.
As well as its office in Sleaford, Fiducia has offices in Mansfield, London and Northern Ireland.
Sarah Miles of Langleys, who advised Fiducia on the transaction, said: “Fiducia’s growth and diversification over the past 14 years has been highly impressive. Securing this office space will help it to grow the team, while maintaining a high level of client service and professionalism.”
