York law firm Langleys has advised on the sale of one of Yorkshire’s leading private hire companies.
Amber Cars, Leeds has been acquired by Veezu Ltd, a taxi and private car hire group based in Newport, Wales.
Christian Hunt, partner in the corporate unit at Langleys, and his colleague Alex Birch advised Amber Cars and its managing director Andy Pennock on the deal.
Amber Cars is one of Yorkshire’s most well-known private hire companies. The business has more than 25 years’ experience and has 750 uniformed drivers and 150 company owned vehicles. It uses innovative technology with its market leading app and automated booking systems.
