A Lincoln business which operates in the industrial gas and steam turbine markets has created a new company in order to grow its control system business over the next three years.
Greenray Turbines (Lincoln) Limited, which has its head offices at Horizon House in Lincoln, has recently brought about a new venture, Greenray Control Solutions Limited, operating from offices in Leicester.
Greenray provides servicing solutions to the industrial gas and steam turbine markets. It supplies parts, maintenance and a full range of technical support services that are traditionally supplied by the OEM.
Commenting on the development, Nina Green of Greenray said: “This is part of Greenray’s ongoing expansion of its control system retrofit business. It is an important step forward which endorses, develops and strengthens Greenray’s existing skill and resource capabilities, as well as expanding its cross fleet product mix.
“As a result we will be in a position to support current and future customers more effectively and efficiently.”
Greenray was advised by Lincoln-based Langleys Solicitors on the acquisition of premises in Leicester.
Sarah Miles, partner at Langleys Solicitors, said: “Greenray flies the flag worldwide for businesses in Lincolnshire, providing services and equipment to over 30 countries worldwide.
“We are proud to assist such an innovative business in its ongoing expansion and we look forward to Greenray’s continued success.”
