Two lawyers have achieved the Older Client Care in Practice (OCCP) Award from the organisation Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
Serena Brotherton and Amanda Gale both work in the private client unit at Langleys Solicitors and are members of SFE.
SFE is a national organisation of professionals who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.
Achieving the OCCP Award demonstrates that as older client practitioners, Serena and Amanda are able to communicate and translate legal expertise into clear explanations for clients and their families while guiding them through the process sensitively.
Andrew Fearn, head of private law at Langleys, said: “We congratulate Serena and Amanda on their achievement. The award recognises their expertise in this area of private client work which involves a strong understanding of the needs and additional considerations required when acting for older and vulnerable clients, their families and representatives.”
