The first conference of its kind took place on 14th May in Lincoln, focusing on workplace wellbeing. The event, which was sponsored by Langleys, concentrated on the importance of a healthy, happy and productive workforce in every sense of the word - from mindfulness, good mental health and physical health, financial wellbeing, to treating individuals with kindness and respect.
With 1 in 6 workers believed to be affected by conditions such as anxiety, stress and depression and 70 million work days lost each year to mental health-related conditions, promoting good health and wellbeing in the workplace is vital not just for workplace productivity, but for the overall well being of the team and its people. Langleys are delighted to be involved with such an important cause in the local community.
The day included many engaging activities, a Q&A and an expert lineup of speakers, including TV’s The Sleep Geek James Wilson and Lincolnshire Police Chief Constable Bill Skelly, sharing their knowledge and insights.
