When it comes to business there’s always someone that’s been there, done that and worn the t-shirt. Regardless of if you’re a start-up business or been around for 100 years, it’s good to get perspective, take a step back and learn from others, perhaps even seek inspiration, share challenges and celebrate successes.
We’ve teamed up with the Family Business Network, which centres itself very much around peer-to-peer learning for all types of businesses and we are delighted to be supporting their forthcoming Business Network Conference in Lincoln on 4 July at the International Bomber Command Centre.
The conference boasts an exciting and varied speaker line up, including Cal Bailey, former Director of Construction and Engineering firm NG Bailey, Guy Schanschieff of Bambino Mio, the largest reusable nappy company in the world, Managing Director, Melanie Tillet, of Tillet’s Clothing, Jason Freezer, co-founder of Bright Side Vets and much more.
Dave Clarkson, Langleys Business Development Director, said “The conference includes some really inspirational speakers who will provide wonderful insights for those attending and it’s their narratives that sets the conference apart from other business events – people find them so valuable”
The conference is the first of it’s kind in Lincolnshire and has been set up off the back of the extremely successful Cumbrian Family Business Network. Although organised by the Family Business Network, you don’t need to be a family business to get the value out of this event. This is an opportunity for businesses large and small, family or independent to gain insights from the experts, challenge the issues of today and develop new ideas in order to thrive.
Lincolnshire has around 45,000 registered businesses, interestingly with a much higher proportion of SMEs than England as a whole. With so much heritage and a great diversity in the market, this is an exciting time for businesses in Lincolnshire.
