The mental health agenda has been front and central for employers and people whether in work or not.
In celebration of International World Mental Health Day (10 October 2021) this year, the big cheeses gifted back an hour to encourage all of us working at Langleys Solicitors to take time out during the working week to do something that positively enhances our mental wellbeing.
People took time out to join together with colleagues for a pamper session, grab an indulgent treat, go for a walk or leave early and clean the house, pick up their kids, visit their loved ones, or have a swim.
So far 176 people took out that hour.
Our CEO, Des Mannion is passionate about wellbeing and led his second guided virtual mindfulness session. Those that have attended the sessions so far have provided some great feedback, picking up some really simple and effective tools for building mindfulness practice into their day to day. It has some huge benefits.
Guilt-free coffee with mates or colleagues, leaving early to have a run, swim or just look at nature, fitness, shopping, catching up with loved ones, we all need a bit of this in our life.
