Mini Setty: A person who feels that they're being paid less than a male colleague at work potentially has a cause of action in equal pay. However, it's a complex area and whether they in fact have a cause of action will depend very much on whether they are doing similar work or like work to the male person that they're comparing themselves to. So they may have a claim but it's certainly worth discussing with solicitors or other advisors.
